Arborwood offers private, semi-private and group lessons Tuesday though Sunday.
For children
still in school, we offer lessons before and after the regular school day. Adults and home-schooled children can take advantage
of riding anytime throughout the day.
Don't be just another face in the crowd at a huge lesson farm! Receive
a very personal experience at Arborwood; enjoy quality instruction from an experienced professional, and one-on-one
attention from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. No matter what your riding level, you have the opportunity to
train with Becky, not a teenage stand-in. We welcome you to be a part our family.

Leasing Lesson Horses
For the rider who wants more than
just lessons, but isn't ready for the commitment or expense that comes along with owning her own horse, leasing a
lesson horse is the perfect option. Please note that these rates are for leasing one of Arborwood's lesson horses,
not for leasing an outside horse.
Partial Lease
Includes 3 lessons
per week and 1 day of hacking. Other people will take lessons on your horse, but you will receive priority on your
horse in group lessons, lesson scheduling, and horse shows................................$800 per month.
Full Lease
Includes 3 lessons per week and hacking/trail riding whenever you desire. You
are the sole rider of the horse. You will be the only person showing, lessoning and riding the horse. You are also in charge
of paying for the horse's shoes every 6 weeks, which can range from $45 (for a pony with no shoes) to $250 (for a large
horse that requires special shoeing), and for deworming ($15 per month). This is an extremely affordable alternative to owning
your own horse..............................................$1200 per month.
Sharing Full Leases
In some situations, sharing a "Full Lease" with one other person works well. Each person
pays the "Partial Lease" fee and splits the cost of shoes and deworming. Both parties receive 3 lessons per week
and 3 days hacking. You might prefer this to the partial lease because you and the person you're sharing the lease with
will be the horse's sole riders. This option may not be available on all lesson horses.
