Hi! My name is JJ (I’m the pony in the pictures!). I have been in the Arborwood Stables lesson program for 3 years. I have taught tons of kids, ages 4-12, to trot, canter and jump. I have taken many riders to their first horse shows and earned them their first blues and championships. I’ve been the year end champion and reserve champion at Palm Beach County Horseman’s Association. I win the short stirrups, crossrails, walk trot, and leadline divisions. I have a slow, large canter stride that’s easy to sit and very comfortable. My sitting trot is a little bouncy. I need my rider to carry a crop to keep me going. I love to canter and jump bareback. I change leads automatically when you turn the corner. I love horse shows, but I do need to be lunged before horse shows to be as slow as I am at home. I have never bucked, kicked or taken off with a rider. I guess I have a couple of bad habits my potential kid should know about: I occasionally nip, but I’m just asking for a treat! I also don’t really like being put on the cross ties. But, once I’m on them, I’ll stand there forever. I loooooove bubble baths and getting groomed! Halloween is my favorite holiday.
