For the rider who wants more than just lessons,
but isn't ready for the commitment or expense that comes along with owning her own horse, leasing a lesson horse
is the perfect option. Please note that these rates are only for leasing one of Arborwood's lesson horses, not
for leasing an outside horse or a horse owned privately within the barn.
Partial Lease
Includes 2 lessons per week and 1 day of hacking. Other people will take lessons on your horse,
but you will receive priority on your horse in group lessons, lesson scheduling, and horse shows..................................$800
per month.
Full Lease
Includes 3 lessons per week and hacking/trail riding whenever
you desire. You are the sole rider of the horse. You will be the only person showing, lessoning and riding the horse. You
are also in charge of paying for the horse's shoes every 6 weeks, which can range from $45 (for a pony with no shoes)
to $250 (for a large horse that requires special shoeing), and for deworming ($15 per month). This is an extremely affordable
alternative to owning your own horse.................................................$1500 per month.
